McLeod Software is seeking a FlowLogix Engineer for our headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The FlowLogix Engineer position will be responsible for developing customer solutions utilizing McLeod’s business process automation tool (FlowLogix).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Business Analysts to provide proposed solutions and service estimates for those solutions.
- Ability to read and write basic SQL
- Analysis and Communication Skills
- Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.
- Ability to provide product support and troubleshoot potential issues.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and attitude.
- Developer skill set and familiarity with SDLC best practices.
- LoadMaster, DocumentPower and PowerBroker knowledge is a plus. Second level support experience and/or knowledge of the back-end of the software and table schemas.
Qualifications:
- Relational Database and SQL Language.
- Visio or other similar flowchart program experience.
- Transportation experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
- BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field preferred.
