McLeod Software is seeking a FlowLogix Engineer for our headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The FlowLogix Engineer position will be responsible for developing customer solutions utilizing McLeod’s business process automation tool (FlowLogix).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business Analysts to provide proposed solutions and service estimates for those solutions.
  • Ability to read and write basic SQL
  • Analysis and Communication Skills
  • Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.
  • Ability to provide product support and troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and attitude.
  • Developer skill set and familiarity with SDLC best practices.
  • LoadMaster, DocumentPower and PowerBroker knowledge is a plus. Second level support experience and/or knowledge of the back-end of the software and table schemas.

Qualifications:

  • Relational Database and SQL Language.
  • Visio or other similar flowchart program experience.
  • Transportation experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field preferred.
