The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for the sale of McLeod Software products consisting of add-on modules / upgrade sales to existing customers and staying in touch with customers regularly within his/her territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Working with National Sales Manager – Existing Accounts, Upgrade sales team members and VP of Sales during the sales process of McLeod products
  • Calling customers within his/her territory on a daily basis to generate sales of the new and existing McLeod products (add-on module /upgrade sales)
  • Responsible for entering sales orders and upgrade contracts within ACT, experience with using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software programs and utilizing RAPTOR in reviewing customer’s software licenses, support, etc.
  • Work closely with the Sales IT Solutions Manager in creating / testing customized Investment Summary / Contract documents
  • Responsible for building / maintaining effective business relationships with McLeod existing customers
  • Meet with / assist customers at annual McLeod Software Users Conference.

Qualifications:


  • Previous successful experience as an Inside Sales Representative
  • Experience with developing / coordinating product campaign distribution using direct mailing, email, website, and telephone
  • Ability to work well with others as a team to accomplish common objectives
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications are strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, self-reliant individual requiring minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Utilizes his/her time effectively, puts in a full day’s work.
  • Willing to accept challenges.
  • Not discouraged by obstacles, but determined to get the job done in spite of obstacles.

Education:


  • B.A. or B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience
